Jordan Katz
Head Coach/ Founder
Growing up Jordan played AAA hockey in the GTHL. Having completed his Master of Education, he is a York Region teacher on and off the ice that has a true passion for working with children. He has been coaching hockey for over 10 years now and continues to love every second of it, building character among the players he coaches. Jordan pushes his players to be the best that they can be, both on and off the ice. Strong work ethic, positive mindsets, sportsmanship & mental toughness are some of the values that he instills into his players. He has also run four non-profit spring hockey camps, as well as his 3v3 league and summer camps. Jordan has helped many of his players move up to higher levels. He takes pride in the hardworking & fun atmosphere that he consistently creates.

With a background in playing AAA hockey, Jordan brings firsthand knowledge of high-level competition to our programs. In addition to his playing experience, he has coached an impressive 10 teams, demonstrating his expertise in nurturing and developing players at various levels. Jordan's involvement in the hockey community expands beyond coaching, as he has also officiated University Hockey games, providing him with a well-rounded understanding of the sport. Moreover, his dedication to mentorship is evident through his work with seven former Katz Bros Players, assisting them in transitioning into coaching roles. With a Master of Education degree, Jordan not only possesses a deep understanding of the game but also leverages his educational expertise to tailor his on-ice lessons to cater to the specific needs of each player. Jordan is also a teacher and has experience teaching kids ranging from kindergarten to high school.

At Katz Bros, we understand the unique skill set and specific needs of goaltenders. That's why we offer specialized training programs tailored specifically for goalies. Whether it's during our summer camps or through private and semi-private sessions, we provide dedicated opportunities for goalies to enhance their skills and develop their technique. During our summer camps, goaltenders have the chance to work closely with experienced goalie coaches who provide specialized instruction on positioning, angles, puck tracking, and other essential goaltending techniques. Additionally, we offer the flexibility for goalies to book private or semi-private sessions, allowing for even more personalized attention and targeted training.
